Mureithi Melvin is a dedicated counseling psychologist with a Diploma in Counseling Psychology from KCA University and currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in the same field. He is a certified and registered psychologist by the Ministry of Health and an Associate Member of the Kenya Counseling and Psychologists Association (KCPA).
Melvin has gained hands-on experience at Mathari National Teaching and Referral Hospital and has served as a counseling psychologist at Mental 360. He actively volunteers with organizations such as Paper Hearts Foundation, NCAJ, and various CBOs, demonstrating his strong commitment to community mental health. He is also the founder of Raha na Ustawi Mental Health Center, a remote mental health care hub.
As a mental health advocate, Melvin is passionate about youth engagement and school outreach, and regularly participates in professional training, therapy, and mental health events. He is a member of Rotaract Thika Road, YMCA Statehouse Road, and a Professional Member of ISSUP (Kenya Chapter). He also serves as a Trainer of Trainers with Sound Mental Health.
